30 May “A True Inspiration for Autistic Children” Fundraiser Luncheon 2018
On the April 19th, on our sixth consecutive year we had another hugely successful lunch at The Paddo in Brisbane, organised with the generosity and amazing fundraising skills of Mr Craig Harley. This year a record 380 attendees filled The Paddington Tavern in Brisbane to enjoy a seafood lunch and listen to an inspirational keynote speaker Michael Crossland, with the event hosted by Donna Lynch & Billy J Smith.
An amazing lunch and afternoon was had by all with all proceeds from the lunch and the auction going directly to assist raising and training assistance dogs for special needs children.
Our sincere thanks goes out to our wonderful ambassador Craig, all the sponsors and everyone involved with helping, donating, attending and fundraising to make this such a wonderful successful annual event for our program.
At last year’s event one of our clients, Chelsea, was our surprised guest! This year Chelsea came back to meet with their Smart Pup Tommy (named in honour of Tommy Raudonikis). This year another family was surprised with pup in training, Gordie (name after Gordon Tallis) presented by Wally Fullerton-Smith to a beautiful boy named Kaid. Also this year was extra special with our gorgeous Billy (named in honour of Billy J Smith) being present to long term sponsor Damien Jackson and his family, with the support from the Norman Hotel, Loins Pty Ltd, The McQuire Hotels, Yalumba and Bracken Ridge Tavern.
A huge thank you to Craig who works tirelessly to ensure the success of this day. Thanks just doesn’t seem enough for everyone involved for this hugely successful lunch.
