Smart Pup for Ashley

Smart Pup for Ashley

Ashley is a 12 almost 13 year old bright girl who loves to run and play with animals and friends but due a major car accident on the 2017 that almost killed her, she has developed severe PTSD, anxiety and depression which has lead to me needing to take her out of normal school and put her into online schooling because of the stress and anxiety it was causing making her miss a lot of the school and chances to make friends.

She can no longer handle being around many people like shopping or just going to the park because it now causes bad panic attacks because of the social anxiety she has also developed of a result of it,She won’t even drive far in the car no more. She can no longer be a normal kid her age and I really want her to go to high school to have a normal life but that won’t be possible without an assistance dog. A PTSD/anxiety assistance dog would help her in so many ways but the main one being helping her be an independent child again and making her get out the house. She struggles to do the things that other kids find easy, like walking out the gate by herself or even just being at school or shopping, assistance dog would also be able to remind her to take her medication as well as she keeps forgetting to and I remind her but she’ll forget so assistance dog will help her with everything that she could need. Please help Ash have a life that a kid her age should and donate, any little but helps. Thank you from bottom of our hearts, Ashley’s mum Leah.

If those people would like to try again it would be much appreciated.

    Just update
Ashley’s been feeling very depressed lately and having a lot of anxiety attacks, I hate that I can’t take that away from her.
She’s so worried that she’s not even going to raise enough money for her smart pup as we tried radio stations lions club and no go.
I seriously hope we can raise it as Ashley really needs her pup ASAP
    Thanks for reading

Living with my mother who has PTSD, I know your struggles will be hard, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and I hope you all the best for the future. Don’t give up Ash.

Hi all I’d like to thank the people who have donated to Ashley’s smart pup campaign it means a lot to Ashley and myself.
Ashley has to have to have her tonsils and adenoids removed and will need to stay in hospital overnight but she’s actually refusing to have it done as she doesn’t want to stay at hospital due to what she went through and every time we go there flashbacks start up again.
If we had her pup it would definitely help decrease her anxiety levels and her knowing her smart pup would be there the whole time, but she won’t have her pup by then.
But I’m just really hoping we can raise money for her as she’s suffers depression aswell and she’s really starting to think she’ll never get her pup.
But just huge thank you to everyone that’s donated.
    Much love 💕🐾🐾

So just a little update on Ashley, we have not long found out that she actually received a brain injury that was caused from the car accident.
Her lawyer informed us about this when she read through Ashley’s hospital files from the accident, she thought I knew about it but definitely did not know the hospital didn’t tell me anything at all I’m not that impressed at all.
I wasn’t happy with how they went about Ashleys treatment or lack of as they didn’t do ultrasound night of accident like said they were going to do and no scans until 2nd night only did them as she became lifeless and wasn’t responding and had to do emergency scans and radiology department said no you can’t bring her up they had to get hold of a doctor that was doing surgery to contact radiology and tell them she was coming straight up.
She was back n forth in icu and high dependcy unit pretty much whole time she was in hospital.
She’s now 13yrs old and she’s not getting any better she’s been very depressed as she thinks she’s never going to get her smart pup and even refusing to have surgery as doesn’t want to stay in the hospital.
As a parent I’d love to take all this pain away from her 😢
Thank you all for the donations means a lot to us both ❤️
