16 Jul Smart Pup for Carter
Our hope is that an assistance dog would be able to help make Carter’s life a little easier. Whether it be acting as a anchor if Carter tries to run or helping provide deep pressure when Carter gets overwhelmed in public situations or at home.
Carter has UNLIMITED energy!
He loves to run, jump, climb everything in sight. He absolutely has no fear and no sense whatsoever for personal safety. If the mood strikes him, he is extremely likely to climb over the fence and take off for a run to play in traffic. Running out in front of cars is one of his favourite things to do.
Carter craves deep pressure and loves to get himself into the smallest tightest spaces possible. As he grows, he is constantly needing more and it will continue to get harder to help him regulate.
Our main goal is to help Carter be as independent as possible, but still catering to his needs while helping him navigate this big wide world as much as we possibly can, in anyway that we can. Any contribution towards our goal would be deeply appreciated.
