13 Apr Our FUTURE – The Smart Pups Training Centre
The property we have found is a purpose built facility that will suit our needs well into the future. Thank you for your interest, generosity and commitment towards investing in our future.
It costs over $35,000 and takes 14 months to complete the training required for one accredited Assistance Dog. As it stands, the demand is highly outweighing our capacity to meet the needs of all those seeking our help. With our waiting lists at full capacity, our clients currently wait up to two years to receive a SmartPup.
Our new headquarters are a major upgrade with more room for our pups and on-site breeding program.
The heart and soul of our organisation starts with our breeding program and our new headquarters accomodates that perfectly, with a dedicated breeding centre, a safe and comfortable refuge for our mums and pups to assist them from the beginning of the life changing journey they will embark on.
The new centre features expansive grassed exercise yards for puppy develiopment and multipurpose sessions with our trainers. Our play areas have been purpose built to provide our dogs with a secure, comfortable and postive experience.
Other features include; air-conditioned kennels, day runs, obstacle course, a veterinary consult room, laundry and grooming facilities.
The best part, there is plenty of room to grow.
To bring this project to fruition, we need financial support to purchase this property to ensure we continue to grow our services for people with disability and their families.
Contracts are in place to acquire our Smart Pups Training Centre, a Sunshine Coast acreage property equipped with purpose-built dog training facilities, a facility to grow our services and become a state-of-the-art assistance dog training organisation for people with disability.
