15 Feb Smart Pup for Harry
Harry was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in September 2018 and is adjusting to the regime of injecting insulin 4x a day.
He has had mixed success with a continuous glucose monitor, and is hoping to feel more confident managing blood sugar lows and highs with a Smart Pup alert dog. Here is a photo of Harry with a relative’s puppy on a fundraiser walk! Harry loves animals and can’t wait for his Smart Pup to arrive. He would be very grateful for any assistance in reaching this goal…
This organisation is a non for-profit organisation and we feel well and truly honoured to have been chosen. The training for the pup can take 12-18 months but it is intense, and these dogs are just incredible.
