05 Dec Smart Pup for Heath
Heath fell through the cracks with traditional funding for autism until this year when he was accepted to the NDIS. All his therapists agree an assistance dog would be a huge asset for Heath and would allow him to improve his independence and lower his anxiety levels especially at school. He is a keen animal lover and has a cat (but unfortunately cats are not social) so this companion to help him would really change his life and allow him to do so much more than he currently can achieve with just our help.
Your donation will be greatly appreciated no matter how big or small. This organisation is a non for-profit organisation. The training for the pup can take 12-14 months but it is intense, and these dogs are just incredible.
Thank you for your donation! All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Posted at 22:37h, 01 JanuaryI am a Support Worker that has worked with Heath for most of the year, and l am so proud of how far he has come. I do believe that with an assistance / therapy dog by his side, it will enable him to manage his anxiety in social situations..
Please assist in any way you can.. Every $5 will help us reach the goal for Heath.
Thank You
