Ben experiences high levels of anxiety, challenges with communication, sleep difficulties and runs when he is overwhelmed. Ben loves dogs and finds being with a dog soothing and calming. Being in the outside world can be overwhelming for Ben and a “best friend” will buffer him from this stress. A “best friend” will help Ben when he is distressed, scared and be a bridge in social interactions. An autism assistance dog will support Ben’s confidence, self-esteem and independence on his journey through adolescents to adulthood. From a young age Ben has asked for an assistance dog. Please support Ben’s wish and donate to help gain a “Best friend for Ben”. An autism assistance dog will improve Ben’s well-being and quality of life.
