08 Jul Smart Pup for Brock (38217)
Hello there, my name is Brock and I will be turning 4 in August 2021. I like to play with my leap pad as the sounds and graphics interest me. I like to play with my baby Yoda and Cocomelon.
I like to interact with books and love pointing to the different pictures. This is how I generally communicate as I am non-verbal. I am learning sigh language and my signing is getting better every lesson! I love to dance to all kinds of music and I often do this with my 5 big sisters. My sisters also help me with play and learning.
I love to swim and I take swimming lessons so I can be safer in the water. I like going to Daycare and I also attend Ipswich special School and my skills are improving everyday. I also go to Early Childhood Development Programs, which all help to improve my abilities. I do find it difficult to socialise in places such as shopping centres, supermarkets and other places where there are crowds, as I struggle outside of my comfort zone. Bright lights, noise and large crowded and unfamiliar places make me scared and nervous and I don’t have the skills to cope with these things. All in all, I like routine and familiar things to keep me happy, at times I do have meltdowns and I do take a while to calm down. I am unique …. I am Brock.
