21 Aug Smart Pup for Hunter (22212)
Hi I am Hunter and I am 8. I like Minecraft, pandas and the colour green. I would like to have a friend. I have autism level 2, adha, anxiety and sensory issues.
I find everyday tasks challenging and have special ways I need to do things. I have meltdowns when I can’t cope and sometimes run away. While I always prefer to be at home, I go to school but just for an hour a day as I find it too overwhelming and I have my own classroom with teacher and teachers aid to help me. Due to my anxieties I don’t sleep very well so neither do mum and dad because I must be in with them (and in the middle). A specially trained assistance dog from Smart Pups will help reduce the severity of my meltdowns and track me when I abscond. He will sleep with me in my own bed in my own room. Most of all….. He will be my best friend.
