My name is Lomani, due to trauma at birth I had grade 3 and grade 5 bilateral brain bleeds, which resulted in Hydrocephalus.
My name is Lomani, due to trauma at birth I had grade 3 and grade 5 bilateral brain bleeds, which resulted in Hydrocephalus. There is no cure for Hydrocephalus, the management is brain surgeries and shunts. I have had 3 brain surgeries so far and I have VP shunt in situ. Due to my aquired brain injury my behavior can be quite challenging, with ASD and Sensory processing difficulties. I have mild Cerebral Palsy in one side, walk on my tippy toes and my legs can become quite tired. However my body has a need for constant need for movement, and it is hard for me to relax. A pup, may be able to sense a seizure or when I’m becoming overwhelmed, most of all it may help me calm my body down. Your help with getting our Pup to join our family would mean the world to me and Muma. 💙
