16 Jul Smart Pup for Mikey donating on behalf of BSRC
The BSRC, Blackwater Social Riders Club are riding to Support Smart Pups Assistance Dogs. This year all money raised between now and 11th September 2021 will go to Michael Copelands pup.
Mickey is an 8 year old local lad who is bright & tries to enjoy life. However, he suffers from a multitude of health issues & everyday is a challenge. To say this dog will help & support Mikey is an understatement. This specially trained Smart Pup is going to change this little boys life. Providing him support, comfort & protection when he needs it the most. These amazing pups are trained to track a child when they wander off, tether to the child to help him walk and nuzzle and support the child when he has an emotional outburst helping to calm & provide a distraction. This pup will be Mikey’s support and best mate.
There are a lot of locals currently raising money for Mikey’s pup and on 11th September we are expecting 300 bikes – Where East Meets West Starting at Kabra & Clermont Hotels. For more info please contact bsrc66@gmail.com or our Facebook Page Bsrc Blackwater.
