02 Sep Saved by the bell, QLD Government to the rescue
Smart Pups received a $500,000 grant from the QLD Government in May 2022, and $54,000 from private donors, allowing us to provide new, and improved facilities for our hard-working pups in training in Verrierdale QLD. We are so grateful for our ongoing positive collaboration with the QLD Government and the generous donations from the community, empowering Smart Pups to continuously improve the lives of children and their families.

Posted at 17:07h, 16 FebruaryI have only just learned what Smart Pups does and am so thrilled with this organisation!! As a mother and teacher, I have seen the incredible power of assistance animals, so agree this is an essential cause for the government and community to support.

Posted at 15:16h, 18 FebruaryI have friends that have volunteered to foster smart pups. They have received so much support from this wonderful organisation during all aspects of training, socialising and general care of their dogs.
There is so much work that goes behind the scenes to have a dog ready for work and Smart Pups are committed to make positive changes in children’s lives.
The kids that receive an assistant dog benefit so much. They become more independent and confident. The unconditional love that they receive from their dog is also an incredible gift which can not be underestimated.
